As the NBA Draft looms, Chinese player Yang Hansen is set to join the pool of draftees, with Blus Man Hoop reporter Peter O’Keefe highlighting the Golden State Warriors’ potential interest in him:

Beyond expanding the Bay Area’s fanbase, Yang’s size and skillset make him a compelling second-round target for the Warriors, who are still seeking a long-term center solution. The 19-year-old impressed at the recent draft combine, drawing positive reviews from ESPN insiders.


Yang, who spent the past two seasons with the CBA’s Qingdao Eagles and made back-to-back All-Star teams, posted standout numbers this year: 16.6 points, 10.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.6 blocks per game in 33.2 minutes, shooting 58.6% from the field and 33.3% from deep.


The Warriors acquired the 41st pick from the Miami Heat in February’s blockbuster Jimmy Butler trade.
